We invite you to stay at the Omoya, which means main house in Japanese. Guests will experience life in traditional archetecture while staying at this beautiful 100 year old home. The first floor of the house features a newly rennovated kitchen, bath, and toilet. On this floor you will see the two tatami rooms facing the vast view of Kamiyama town below. Additionally, the living room and private tatami room (8 mats) are located on this floor. On the second floor, there are two tatami rooms (6 mats each) for guests to stay. These two rooms can combine to make one if needed.

 

Immerse youself in the beauty of Kamiyama and the friendly community. We encourage our guests to create a connection to this place and the people so that you feel at home.

We offer short term (2 days minimum to up to one month), but we can be flexible and create a stay that works for you.  You will share the kitchen and bathroom with other guests and Morinishi family.
